Field Application Specialist, Tecan – Copenhagen/ South of Sweden
Job Description
Tecan is now looking for a field application specialist to further strengthen the team. In this role you are responsible for service and application support on Tecan Liquid Handling and Detection instrumentation within the territory. The position includes application and support activities such as on-site or remote support, installations, implementation of customized applications, training of customers, demonstrations and maintenance and repair of instruments. The headquarters is situated in Stockholm but you will mainly be working from home or at the customers. The position will require extensive travelling as most of the work is performed at the customer sites.
Location: Copenhagen/south of Sweden.
Qualifications
You have a degree in life science (biology, chemistry or similar) or engineering. Experience of service and application support or of operation of laboratory equipment is desirable. You have a genuine technical interest as well as knowledge and interest in computers. Programming knowledge (e.g. C#, .NET, VB Script, Matlab) is meritorious. Fluent English is required and Danish is a strong advantage. You have a driving license and the ability to travel.
As a person you are a self-motivated and enthusiastic and enjoy working independently as well as part of a team. You are action and solution oriented and customer focused and have strong analytical and diagnostic skills. Tecan offers an interesting and diversified role with freedom with responsibility.
