Solutions Lab Team Leader, AkzoNobel -Malmö
AkzoNobel, is now looking for a Team Leader who will be working in a global environment to develop, manage and implement strategies within in the coil solutions lab in Malmö. In this role you will improve and optimize the output of lab processes such as, Technical support, Formulation and Product development. Your responsibilities also include to set priority of the lab work requests and support technical business partners, so that they will maximize customer satisfaction by providing the highest quality of service at the customer. You will be working closely with Lab and Technical support managers, Account Managers, QC/Tinting Manager, Lab Chemist as well as customers at various levels.
We are offering a dynamic, innovative and challenging position where you will be able to work with product development in an independent and global role.

Qualification:
We are looking for a person with the following experience and qualification:
• BSc or MSc within Chemistry/Polymer Science or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years experience from the industrial coatings industry.
• Good understanding of the Coating technologies platforms
• Extensive management capabilities
• You master English and Swedish in speech and writing
On a personal level, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have the ability to work in a high matrix environment. You are self-motivated and you have the ability to plan and execute activities with minimal supervision. You strive to deliver results. We place great emphasis on personal qualities for this role.
