As Requirement Engineer at Leica, you are the vital link between product management and R&D. A key task is to translate market needs into product requirements. You have close contacts with distributors and end customers to provide a detailed picture of the customer's needs, which is then translated into clear requirements delivered to R&D. You play an important role in product development projects and you ensure that the products lives up to expectations.
Other important tasks is to give distributors training in the products and to provide 2nd line support. You also assist the marketing department with technical information for brochures and educational materials.
The position includes international travel.

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has a degree in a relevant field, such as community building or systems science. You have extensive experience in requirements management and have an understanding of the software development process through previous experience in software development projects.
As a person you are very technically minded and thrive on active customer contact. Our products are aimed at the construction industry and it is important that you feel comfortable in such an environment. Fluent English in written and spoken is a must.
